The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. Also assists physicians and Radiologist in performing examinations by administering/providing contrast media and assisting with procedures as needed.

Job Details/Incentives:

• Four 9-hour shifts per week, Rotating On-Call and Weekends, Night Shift
• Hourly Rate/Salary is based on years of experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
• Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use CT equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
• Incumbents must be able to work stand-by and call-back duty and respond to a call within 20 minutes.

Education and Experience:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state of Montana and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification required.

• One year of previous experience.
