Ortho/MS/Tele RN - Days - 36H; EOW
2YR experience required, must have general surgery/ortho experience w/ strong skills; will accept first-time traveler with at minimum 1YR HCP experience/strong skills
Start Date: 05/04/26
Contract length: 10 weeks
Shift/Hours: 3x12 Days (7:00-19:30)
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated and any other types of special scheduling requests should be submitted with the RTO at time of application submission.
License/certs required: RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS, NIH; CPI preferred
Ratio: 1:5
Patient Age Range: Adult/Geriatric; Adolescents with a tanner score > 4 can be prearranged to be admitted to this unit
Special Details/Unit Procedures: Surgeries include but are not limited to-Complex total joints, cervical and lumbar spine fusions, foot and ankle, head and neck, colorectal, hepatobiliary, urology, and GYN surgeries. EKGs, Telemetry monitoring capable; RN should know rhythm basics.
Equipment/Other Details: IV, PCA, PCEA, Capnography, wound vac. Unit uses HCHAPS, White Boards, Bedside shift report, zebra phone and tiger connect secure text messaging for communication. 

Weekends: every other weekend required
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating: required within the specialty and lower acuity as needed
On-Call: pre-scheduled on-call shifts not required
