Position: Weekend Dual Modality CT / Radiologic Technologist (CT/R) 

Job Summary

The Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech produces high‑quality diagnostic images using CT and general radiology equipment in accordance with professional standards. This role requires strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, radiation safety, and patient care across all age groups. The technologist ensures quality imaging, patient education, infection control, and may support clinical education of students.

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: Fri–Sun | 6p–6a
• Weekly Hours: 36 (3×12s)

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS
• ARRT (CT and Radiography)
• Active Indiana license

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in:
  • CT scanning
  • General radiology
• Experience must include both modalities

Key Responsibilities

• Verify imaging orders and assess appropriateness using patient history and clinical data
• Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality
• Operate CT, radiography, and computer equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine need for additional imaging
• Apply radiation safety practices to minimize exposure
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, imaging techniques, and image quality standards
• Educate patients on procedures and address questions appropriately
• Adapt care and communication to patient developmental stages
• Maintain infection control and quality assurance standards
• Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations as assigned
