Description

Job Title: RN Med/Surg (Neuro/Stroke)

Location: Griffin, GA, 30224

Shift: Days

Duration: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and codes.
Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
Active RN license (Georgia or Compact)
BLS – Basic Life Support from AHA.
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Suppor

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

Associate's degree in nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing Required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)

Reg Nurse (Single State) Required
RN - Multi-state Compact Required
Basic Life Support Required

Required Minimum Experience

Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required

Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience Required
