Description
RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * * **Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.** **Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract Department: ER **2 years exp in ED required *Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, HSS Team (workplace violence training)* it is very difficult for us to do block scheduling. We do try to make it work if we can but I cannot guarantee it.
# of Beds/Trauma Bays: 18 - Ratios: 1:4-5 based on acuity - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: All age groups, Chest pain, abdominal pain, cough/congestion, orthopedic injuries, ENT emergencies, behavioral health, sepsis, and stroke. Treat a lot of high acuity patients here - Common drips: Antibiotics, narcotics, anti-emetics, vaccines, emergency medications - EMR System: EPIC - IV Pumps: Alaris
