First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Shift:

3×12-hour shifts
Every other weekend required

Certification Requirements

ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT
NRP (required for placements in L&D; traveler can obtain once offered)
Indiana State RN license required (temporary license accepted if full license application submitted)
PALS preferred

Skillset & Experience

Must have L&D experience (primary placement will be in L&D)
PICU experience: Minimum 2 years
Children’s Hospital experience: Required within the last 3 years
Open to travelers with experience in Level 1 adult facilities

Unit Assignment:

NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics
Home unit assigned at facility but may change based on the needs of the facility

Floating Requirements

May be assigned to PICU, NICU, or Pediatrics
Floating among these 3 units may occur
May also float to IU Health North Hospital
