Job Description

• Position: Med/Surg Tele RN
• Shift: Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts (7pm-7am)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Holidays: Every other holiday

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience of at least 1.5 years, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation

Additional Information

• Documentation Required:

  • Government-Issued Photo ID
  • Various health documents including:

    • Physical Exam
    • Fit Mask certification
    • Vaccination records (e.g., Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella)
    • TB testing documentation
    • Drug testing
    • Background check
    • Education verification
    • References (2 required from recent employment)

• Competencies:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Unit-Specific Competency Exam required within 12 months of start

• Onboarding Process:

  • Completion of online training modules prior to start
  • Candidates must complete all modules before clearance to start

Notes

• Candidates must be aware of the high priority of completing onboarding modules and other documentation requirements.
• The facility will cover the cost of 4 hours of module time, but additional time will not be covered.
• Candidates should ensure they have the necessary certifications and documentation ready for submission.
