We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team at a well-established healthcare facility. This role involves performing high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging.

Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of MRI scans using advanced imaging equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work with patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures with accuracy and adherence to established protocols
• Operate MRI equipment, coils, and related imaging systems
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality for diagnostic accuracy
• Screen patients and staff for MRI safety and compliance with magnet safety guidelines
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain infection control and follow universal precautions
• Accurately document patient information and imaging data in RIS and PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Active NY State License required
• Certification as a Radiologic, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound Technologist
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI required)
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology required; MRI experience preferred
• Completion of MRI-specific training preferred

Schedule:

• Day shift with a combination of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday schedule with every other Saturday required
