Unit Overview

Unit: Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU
Beds: 16
Nurse‑to‑Patient Ratio: 1:2 (occasional 1:1 for high‑acuity patients)
Patient Population: Young adults to geriatrics
Care Setting: Acute Care
Trauma Level: Acute / Critical Care

Patient Types & Common Diagnoses

Sepsis, STEMI, stroke, COVID‑19
Neurosurgical patients (including craniotomy recovery)
Renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD
DKA, cancer, cardiac and neurologic critical illness

Shift: 12‑Hour Nights (6:30 PM–7:00 AM or 6:30 AM–7:00 PM as scheduled) Charting System: Epic BLS, ACLS, NIHSS BSN Required Job ID #18042462
