Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures across adult and geriatric populations, with exposure to pediatric cases preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET/CT, SPECT, and general diagnostic scans
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses
• Conduct procedures such as Bone Scans, HIDA, MUGA, Renal Flow, Lung Scans, Thyroid Studies, and Tumor Localization
• Assist with cardiac stress testing and myocardial imaging
• Handle and dispose of radioactive materials safely and in compliance with regulations
• Perform IV starts and venipuncture
• Work across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner (EMR) and PACS

Equipment & Environment:

• Siemens equipment preferred
• 4 General Rooms | 1 SPECT/CT | 2 PET/CT
• Work settings include hospital, clinic, ICU, ER, NICU, and PICU

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
• Experience with PET/CT, SPECT, and general nuclear medicine imaging
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB – Required
• ARRT (R) – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• New Mexico State License – Required (pending accepted)
• PET Certification – Preferred
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB-CT – Preferred
