Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

-Note that caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs). Shifts will be either Days or Nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date. 

Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Preference is for traveler's to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract. 

All caregivers are required to obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification as a requirement of working in a LTC facility. Clinicans will obtain certification during orientation on-site at the facility. They do not need to complete this prior to their start date. There is a one-time $10 fee for this certification.

Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility 

Work Settings required: Rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility/ Nursing Home, Endocrine /Metabolic, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Medication Administration, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, IM & SQ, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Orthopedics, Ambulation, Respiratory, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Skin, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care

Professional Topics and Skills required: Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Vital Sign monitoring
