Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Claremore Indian Hospital
Shift: Nights / Day
Experience: Preferred 5+ years (Minimum 3 years required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality emergency healthcare services to patients of all ages. This role involves treating a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to critical trauma cases, in a fast-paced ER environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ clinical conditions by recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations; prioritize care and take immediate, appropriate action.
• Initiate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer physician-prescribed treatments such as medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Accurately document patient observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures.
• Coordinate care activities across multidisciplinary teams and maintain detailed patient records.
• Assign tasks to team members based on patient care needs and staff competencies.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care delivery and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain adequate supplies and equipment while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (5+ years preferred)
• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
• Required Certifications from AHA:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIHSS & Eight Strokes certificates
• Strong ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screening, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
