Description
- Number of Beds - 506
- Number of Staff – 14
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 lead, 4 technologists
- Second Shift- 3 technologists
- Night Shift – 1 technologist in CT and 1 multimodality CT/US/XR tech, 1 transporter
- Patient Ratios – 2 pts/tech/hour
- Type of equipment - GE
- EMR – Meditech
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Performs routine scans or angio scans as per ordering physician in compliance with department guidelines, starts IVs and administers contrast injections
- Performs a QA phantom scan each week on the 2- 64 slice General Electric CT scanners, completing measurements for contrast resolution, noise, and other technical data.

I work in the Dialysis Suite for HCA. We cover 3-4 counties. We currently work on a week on/week off basis. The mountains are beautiful. I enjoy the work that I do.
Cons
There is a lot of call. 2 out of the 3 days are call days. There is no set time to go home. You may work >12hrs at times.
