This role is based in a remote emergency department where nurses must be confident, adaptable, and comfortable working with a high level of autonomy and limited on-site resources.<br /> </p><p>You will provide hands-on emergency care to a diverse patient population while making a meaningful impact in a close-knit Alaskan community where healthcare access is critical.<br /> </p><p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Active Alaska RN license (required)</strong></li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience</li><li>NIHSS certification – required</li><li>BLS – required</li><li>ACLS – required</li><li>PALS – required</li><li>Ability to complete FEMA courses IS-100.C, IS-200.C, and IS-700.B prior to start</li><li>Strong triage, assessment, and emergency response skills</li><li>Experience in rural or low-resource settings strongly preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Travel &amp; Housing</strong></p><ul><li>Round-trip coach airfare provided</li><li>Housing provided</li><li>Shared hospital vehicle available for trips into town</li><li>Housing does not include phone, cable, internet, or furniture rental</li><li>No smoking or pets permitted in housing</li></ul>
