Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of PACU RN experience required
First-time travelers accepted

Licensure:

Active Alaska (AK) RN License
- Required in hand for auto offer
- Pending license accepted for submission/screening only

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Clinical Skills:

PACU Phase II experience required
Pediatric PACU experience preferred

Schedule & Work Requirements

Shift:

3x12-hour day shifts with variable start/stop times
Possible shift options include:
- 0700–1900
- 0800–2000
- 0900–2100
- 1000–2200
- 1100–2300

On-Call:

Required: 1 call shift per month

Weekend Requirement:

Required: 1 weekend shift per month

Scheduling Notes:

Block scheduling not available
Must be flexible with shift variations

Additional Requirements

Floating: Not required
Local Candidates: Not accepted (must reside at least 50 miles from facility)
RTO (Requested Time Off): Must be submitted with application
Guaranteed Hours:
- 60 hours per 2 weeks
- Facility may cancel 1 (12-hour) shift per 2 weeks
