Travel ED RN Opportunity – Overland Park, KS
Looking for your next travel assignment? We have an exciting 13-week Emergency Department RN contract in Overland Park, Kansas!
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Night Shift) 4x12's/ 48 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend
Call: None
Floating: None
Job Description:
As an ED RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess, triage, and treat patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to critical emergencies. The role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to prioritize care quickly, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Performing rapid patient assessments and initiating appropriate interventions
- Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitoring patient status and responding to changes in condition
- Documenting care accurately and efficiently
- Educating patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
This is a great opportunity to work in a structured ED setting with no floating and a consistent schedule.
