Travel ED RN Opportunity – Overland Park, KS 🚨

We’re hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract in Overland Park, Kansas!

🗓 Assignment Length: 13 weeks
🕒 Shift: 3pm-3am or 5a-5pm
📞 Call: None
🔄 Floating: None

📅 Schedule Details:

• 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement:
  • Dayshift: 4 weekend shifts per month (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Nightshift: 6 weekend shifts per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday; Friday counts as weekend)
• Scheduler will make reasonable attempts to group weekend shifts (typically every other weekend)

🩺 Job Description:
As an ED RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will triage and treat patients with a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. Strong assessment skills, quick decision-making, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing rapid patient assessments and prioritizing care
• Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately documenting patient care and outcomes
• Educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

✅ Requirements:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
• Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
