Position Overview

Great River Medical Center is seeking a versatile and skilled Travel Radiologic Technologist to support both X-ray and CT imaging services on a night shift schedule. This role is ideal for a technologist who is comfortable working independently and handling a broad range of imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 36/48 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Flexibility and reliability are essential for night coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, imaging techniques, and image quality
• Operate and maintain radiologic and CT equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow physician orders and imaging protocols with precision
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records
• Adhere to radiation safety standards for patients and staff
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
• Respond to urgent and emergent imaging needs during night shifts

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience

• Prior experience in both X-ray and CT imaging
• Ability to work independently in a night shift environment

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R) certification required
• CT certification (ARRT or equivalent) preferred
• State licensure as required (Arkansas)
• BLS certification

Work Environment

• Hospital-based radiology department
• Exposure to a variety of imaging cases across X-ray and CT
• Night shift coverage with potential for independent workflow
