Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray / CT) – Nights
Facility: Great River Medical Center
Location: Blytheville, Arkansas
Assignment Type: Travel
Duration: 13 Week, with potential for extension
Position Overview
Great River Medical Center is seeking a versatile and skilled Travel Radiologic Technologist to support both X-ray and CT imaging services on a night shift schedule. This role is ideal for a technologist who is comfortable working independently and handling a broad range of imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 36/48 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
- Flexibility and reliability are essential for night coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, imaging techniques, and image quality
- Operate and maintain radiologic and CT equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow physician orders and imaging protocols with precision
- Maintain proper documentation and patient records
- Adhere to radiation safety standards for patients and staff
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
- Respond to urgent and emergent imaging needs during night shifts
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Experience
- Prior experience in both X-ray and CT imaging
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (R) certification required
- CT certification (ARRT or equivalent) preferred
- State licensure as required (Arkansas)
- BLS certification
Work Environment
- Hospital-based radiology department
- Exposure to a variety of imaging cases across X-ray and CT
- Night shift coverage with potential for independent workflow
