Description

Shift

Shift Timing: 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours per Day: 8 hours
Days per Week: 5
Schedule Notes: Part-time (listed as part-time, though 40 hours/week suggests full-time), 13-week contract to permanent position

Responsibilities:

Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments
Operate sterilization equipment and inspect instruments
Maintain records, inventory, and workstation cleanliness
Follow infection-control and quality standards
Communicate with team and participate in training
Suggest workflow improvements and perform other duties

Required Skills & Experience 1+ year of hands-on sterile processing experience Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques Familiarity with ANSI/AAMI standards and IFUs Proficient with washer disinfectors, autoclaves, and related equipment Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and multitasking ability Basic computer skills and effective communication Ability to receive required vaccinations and health screenings Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications: CRCST or CIS certification required
