Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Ward Clerk to work at a facility in Buena Vista , CO. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $25 / hour
*W2

Shifts Available:

  • MON-FRI 0800-1700 WITH 1 HOUR LUNCH 800-1600 WORKING LUNCH

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Ward Clerk
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of CO

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls and assist patients, families, and visitors
  • Maintain and update patient records and charts
  • Schedule tests, procedures, and appointments
  • Enter patient information into the system
  • Support nurses and doctors with clerical tasks
  • Prepare and organize medical documents
  • Coordinate communication between departments
  • Order and track office or medical supplies
  • Ensure records are complete and accurate
  • Follow confidentiality and hospital policies
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Ward Clerk Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology CPR card issued by the American Heart Association Must have up to date certification in the state of CO full time position
