Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hrs
Primary Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital

Shift Requirements: 12-hour night shifts, 1830–0700
Float Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED and general care areas. May also be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed (with advance notice).

On Call/Call Back: N/A

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP (AHA or ARC accepted)
NBRC CRT accepted, but must obtain RRT within one year
Active Wisconsin license required

Required Education: Associate’s Degree

Minimum Experience: 3+ years experience; pediatrics & NICU experience required

Previous travel experience required

Charting/Equipment: EPIC; V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators, iSTAT

Unit Details:
Respiratory Therapy covers all patient care areas including emergency department and general care floors. Provides emergency services such as Rapid Response and Code Blue.
