Med Surg / Tele RN – Breakdown Unit Details<ul><li>24-bed Med Surg unit</li><li>Telemetry capability on all beds</li><li>Heavy Tele floor</li><li>Unit sees adults and pediatrics Travelers do NOT take peds — peds patients assigned to permanent staff only </li><li>Must be a strong Med Surg / Tele RN</li><li>Must be comfortable with:<ul><li>Heavy telemetry</li><li>Strong Neuro skills</li><li>Strong Cardiac skills</li></ul></li><li>2 years of recent experience required Shift / Hours</li><li>12-hour shifts</li><li>36 hours guaranteed</li><li>3 cancellations allowed </li><li>Days: 1:5</li><li>Nights: 1:6 </li><li>Peds: 1:4 (travelers will not take peds)</li><li>Ratios may vary depending on patient acuity</li><li>Required to float to:<ul><li>All Med Surg units</li><li>ICU for Med Surg overflow patients only</li></ul></li></ul>
