Location: Etowah, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The role involves providing care in a facility with 88 beds, serving both skilled and long-term care patient populations.
Work Schedule
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: Alternating between 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next (3/4 schedule)
- Weekend Hours: 24 hours every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: As needed
Patient Care Details
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:9 during the day and 1:19 at night
- Equipment: Lifts available for residents requiring assistance
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: PointClickCare
Required Qualifications
- Valid CNA license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience within the last year
- Experience in Long Term Care settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Attributes
- Previous experience in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities
- Professional demeanor and personality fit
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs biweekly on Mondays

- No specific dress code restrictions beyond scrubs
Note: Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.
