Description
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced CVOR Surgical Tech for a high-acuity facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a fast-paced operating room environment supporting complex cardiothoracic, vascular, and thoracic procedures. Candidates must have strong, recent CVOR experience and be comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties.
Assignment Details:
- 13-week contract
- Schedule: Full-time (shift details provided upon submission)
- Facility: 13 OR rooms + 1 procedure/cysto room
- Case volume: ~45 cases per day
- Orientation: 2 weeks (CVOR-specific)
- Scrubs: Provided
- Parking: Free
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience
- MUST have strong, recent CVOR experience
- Experience required in: CABG, TAVR, vascular, and thoracic cases
- Must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program
- BLS (AHA) required
- National certification preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Skill Set:
Must be able to scrub and support cases across the following specialties:
- Cardiothoracic
- Vascular
- Orthopedic (strong proficiency required)
- General Surgery
- Urology
- Robotic
- GYN
- Colon
- Breast
- Spine
- Podiatry
- Plastic Surgery
Patient Population / Case Types:
- Cardiothoracic: CABG, AVR, MVR, mini mitral, septal myomectomy
- Vascular: carotid & femoral endarterectomy, bypasses, thrombectomy, fistula creation, hybrid procedures
- Thoracic: VATS, robotic resections, lobectomies, pericardial windows
Technology:
- EMR: Epic
- IV Pumps: Alaris
- Medication Dispensing: Omnicell
- Monitoring: Philips

- Radius rule: Must live 50+ miles from facility
