Traveler Pay: $34/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $700 weekly
Meals: $546 weekly
Weekly Gross: $2470 weekly for 36 hours

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN Med Surg - Neuro
Location - 1401 East State Street, Rockford, IL 61104

JOB DETAILS:
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Night Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am (12X3 shift) // 36 hours weekly
Weekend REQ: Yes - every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
Work Location - On Location
Ability to commute/relocate: Rockford, IL 61104: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct patient care to neurological and medical-surgical patients with conditions such as stroke, seizures, head injuries, and neurodegenerative disorders.
Perform comprehensive neurological assessments including level of consciousness, pupil response, motor/sensory function, and Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS).
Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and telemetry, and promptly report changes in condition.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and neuro-specific treatments per physician orders and protocols.
Manage patients with seizure precautions, stroke protocols, and post-neurosurgical care.
Assist with and monitor diagnostic procedures such as CT, MRI, and EEG.
Provide care for patients with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilatory support (as applicable).
Implement fall prevention and safety measures for neurologically impaired patients.
Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, medications, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.

REQUIREMENT:
Must have an RN-IL license

2 plus years experience with in the specilaty - REQUIRED

mid-large hospital experience - REQUIRED
