Description
Years of experience required: 2 years of current CVICU experience. May consider SICU experience with initial training in a CVICU
Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Required Skills: Post Op Open Heart Recovery, Swan, Flotrack, Temp Pacers, Alines, and Chest Tubes. CVICU experience with fresh open hearts such as CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR
Patient Mix: Fresh hearts, ventilated patients, chest tubes and lumbar drains, chronic and acute renal failure
Equipment Requirements: For consideration, applicants MUST have experience with devices such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax -OR- experience with fresh heart cases
Floating required to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all IMC units
