Description

Mammography Technologist – Position Description

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical duties related to screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Using specialized imaging equipment, this role is responsible for capturing high‑quality breast images and collaborating with radiologists to assist in accurate interpretation. The technologist plays a vital part in early detection, improving patient outcomes and treatment success.

Minimum Requirements

Current State License or Certificate in the state of practice
ARRT Mammography certification and/or State of California Mammo License (required)
One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
Current CPR certification, if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
Current Health Certificate (as required by contract or state regulations)
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
