Description

PAY:
Traveler Pay: $28/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $900 weekly
Meals: $577 weekly
Weekly Gross: $2485 weekly for 36 hours

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-PCU
Location - 460 W 10th Ave Rm 224, Columbus, OH 43210

JOB DETAILS:
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 12 hours day and night both // 36 hours weekly
Schedule: Weekdays and some weekends(Every Other)
Charting: EPIC (Preferred)

Patient Ratio: 1:4
Work Location - On Location
Ability to commute/relocate: Columbus, OH 43210: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Start and manage IVs
Administer medications safely
Monitor vitals and patient responses
Educate patients on treatments and self-care
Collaborate with the care team on patient plans
Use EPIC EMR for charting
Float to lower acuity units if needed
Follow hospital policies and maintain patient safety

Interpretation of dysrhythmias

Management of dysrhythmias

Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

IV therapy/Phlebotomy

Peripheral Line Care/Management

PICC line management

Starting and maintaining IVs

Neurological/Psychiatric

Substance Withdrawal

Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac

Nasal Cannula

Professional Topics and Skills

Isolation Precautions/PPE

REQUIREMENT:
Active Ohio RN license
2+ years of clinical nursing experience
BLS and IV certification
