Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of nursing experience (acute care preferred)
• Behavioral Health / Psychiatric experience required
• Leadership/Management experience required
• Active MI RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and patient care operations
Responsibilities
• Oversee quality of patient care and safety in Behavioral Health Unit
• Lead and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in policy development and organizational decision-making
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
• Provide staff education, mentorship, and professional development
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
