GERO PSYCH RN - NIGHTS - Akron, OH

* BLS, CPI BLUE CARD REQUIRED from Crisis Prevention Institute

* EPIC EMR experience required

* RN Degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited university

* No blocked schedule requests

* 2 years experience required

Unit information: Patients are mostly over 60 yrs old, dementia, depression or suicidal. This has 16 private rooms. 1 to 6/7 ratios. Ideal Staffing plan- 3 RNs/2 techs. We have 1-3 techs on the unit depending on the census and the acuity of the patients. Centrak badges for increased safety (like a panic button) Protective services dispatched immediately when pressed. Must be willing to float within your scope of practice and can be floated to Med /Surg units as helping hands.
