Description
Responsibilities
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (oral, injection, inhalation)
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during imaging
• Operate imaging equipment such as SPECT/CT scanners
• Process and generate diagnostic images (brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and radiopharmaceutical usage
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure proper positioning
• Stay updated with advancements in nuclear medicine
• Maintain compliance with organizational standards and policies
Requirements
Experience
• Minimum 1 year experience → preferred
• Experience with nuclear imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling
• Strong technical, analytical, and computer skills
Licenses/Certifications
• Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (NH) → required
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
Education
• Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
