Position Details
NICU RN 
 

NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)

No EKG Exam 

Level III NICU experience required
 

Required to attend deliveries as part of the NICU team
EPIC experience strongly preferred
Floating within New Life Center or to other NICUs in Richmond possible
BLS, NRP required, STABLE preferred
12-Hr NIGHTS, 7p-7a, every other weekend/major holiday required
ITO will interview

Unit Details
 

Memorial Unit Size: 9 beds

Patient Population: Early and late pre-term infants, High risk low birth weight babies
Airway: Vary rarely vents.  Mainly bubble CPAP, high flow and nasal cannulas

Lines/Drains/Devices: Peripheral IV’s, Umbilical lines, NG/OG tubes, Syringe pumps

Average Daily Census: 3-4 infants

Provider Coverage: 24/7 providers on site

Scrubs: Navy blue, white or any combination of the two colors
 

Ratio*: 1:2-3
