Travel RN Pediatric Emergency Room 
Norman, OK

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days/Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to trauma and critical care situations
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or Oklahoma state license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Emergency Room experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma ICU experience required
• Current BLS
• Current PALS
• ACLS 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume, Level 1 trauma centers
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
