RN EP Lab

Location: Heart Hospital of Austin

Tell us about the unit(s):

Number of Beds – 1 labs
Number of Staff – 3-4 staff per procedure, plus anesthesia
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 3-4. Mix of tech and RNs plus Supervisor
- Night Shift – none
Patient Ratios – 1:1
Type of equipment - Philips
EMR -Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Minimum 2 yrs experience
Active RN License

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

2+ yrs experience scrubbing
Monitor with Claris

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Standard implant procedures. All EP ablation cases minus VT. Perform Watchman procedures High volume.

Best personality Fit:

Very busy lab. Sense of urgency.

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

Scrub Color - Scrubs provided by hospital
