Description

Position: RN Intermediate Care
Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours: 36 or open to 48 hours

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
Travel experience required
Active NY RN License (NURSYS verification for all RN licenses required)
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Epic EMR experience required

Unit Details:

Unit: IMCU
Beds: 64 (including 15 designated Neuro beds)
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Common Diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV Stepdown, Post-op
Specialty Equipment: Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo
Vents: Chronic vents (RT assists)
Floating: Required
Block scheduling not guaranteed
