Description

RN – Cardiac OR (Scrub / Circulating) | Job Summary

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 36–40 Hours (plus possible overtime)
Shift: As per department schedule
Call: Required
Parking: Free on-site

Role Overview

The RN will be primarily scrubbing, with additional circulating responsibilities as needed.
Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity Cardiac OR environment and assisting with complex surgical procedures.
Strong multitasking and critical thinking skills are essential due to the fast-paced setting and ongoing research protocols.

Experience Required

3–5 years of recent experience as a Scrub & Circulating RN in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgeries.

Cases may include (but are not limited to):

Coronary Artery Bypass (CABG) – primary & redo
Aortic aneurysm repairs
Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR) – primary & redo
Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR) – primary & redo
TAVR procedures
ECMO
VAD cases
Adult cardiac cases required | Pediatric experience is a plus

Certifications

BLS (AHA) – Required
CNOR – Preferred

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be available to work:

One Summer Holiday: Memorial Day / July 4th / Labor Day
One Winter Holiday: Thanksgiving / Christmas
