Experience Requirements

Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in Pediatric Cardiac Sonography – Required
Minimum 3 years of full-time experience at Phoenix Children’s Hospital with:
- Proven leadership skills
- Active contributions to departmental projects beyond imaging responsibilities
- Note: External candidates must demonstrate a strong leadership background and commit to leadership responsibilities after orientation – Required
6 months of experience in a fetal cardiac program (preferably at Phoenix Children’s) – Preferred
Endorsement from Fetal Medical Director and Echo Lab Medical Director – Required

Certifications & Licensure

ARDMS RDCS (PE) – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Pediatric)
OR
CCI RCCS – Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer – Required
ARDMS RDCS (FE) or RDMS (FE) – Fetal Echocardiography Certification – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association – Required
