Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) to provide comprehensive resident care in a long-term care setting. The RPN will deliver care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include supervising and guiding subordinate staff, assisting in resident care, and ensuring adherence to professional standards, nursing codes, and residents’ rights.
The RPN will assess and evaluate resident care issues, collect and analyze data to inform nursing services, and direct resident teaching programs. The role also includes coordinating the activities of ancillary personnel, maintaining high standards of professional nursing, and providing clinical mentorship and skill development for junior staff.
This role requires flexibility, including shift rotations, to ensure consistent, high-quality care for residents. Familiarity with electronic medical records (PointClick) is preferred.
