Description

RN Labor & Delivery – Contract Overview

Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week

Weekly Hours Breakdown:

12 hrs × 3 shifts = 36 hours per week
Night Schedule: 19:00 – 07:00
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend

Contract Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted (Travel experience required)
Locals: Allowed at same rate
License: Kansas (KS) or Compact License required at submission (no pending)
EMR: Centricity preferred
Block Scheduling: Case-by-case manager approval

Experience Required:

Minimum 2+ years Labor & Delivery experience
Charge experience preferred

Certifications Required:

ACLS
BLS
NRP

Key Skills Needed:

Labor & Delivery management (including high-risk vaginal deliveries)
C-Sections, Forceps/Vacuum deliveries
External fetal monitoring (EFM)
NST reflex checks
Sterile vaginal & speculum exams
IVs & medication administration
Postpartum & newborn care
Neonatal care
Pain management
Surgical cases including cervical cerclage

Facility Note:
Critical Access facility – looking for a nurse who can jump in quickly after orientation.
