● General Information:
o Beds: 10 on each side, so 20 rooms total
▪ Average patients/day? 60-80
o Minimum Years of Experience? 2 years, clinic or inpatient/acute care experience is acceptable
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o General family medicine – birth to geriatrics with some OB patients . 35% well visits, 15% acutely sick, and many chronic disease management patients.
● Patient Ratios: N/A
● Required Licensure & Certifications:
o BLS
● Skills required:
o This position will primarily be phone triage, in basket management, and medication refills.
o Ideal if they're comfortable giving adult vaccinations. May help room patients and get vitals on occasion
o Sometimes will see patients that need IV fluids. RN will start IV if needed. This is rare.
o RNs will respond to any emergency situation that happens in the clinic
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC – preferred but not required if strong RN
o IV Pumps: Alaris
● Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: none
o On call? none
o Holiday Expectations: none
o Approval of RTO: 7 days ok; any days surrounding holidays need to go to manager
o Shift times: Monday – Thursday, 0830-1700, Friday 0730-1600
