Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Description

Required Skills:

Valid RN license in the state of practice
Experience with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis treatments
Proficiency with dialysis equipment such as Baxter Amia PD Devices and Spectra Optia Apheresis Devices
Ability to perform and interpret EKGs (pass/fail requirement)
Strong critical thinking and patient monitoring skills, including telemetry monitoring
Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety standards

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience working in critical care or medical-surgical units
Prior exposure to complex patient populations, including those with neurologic, renal, or hematologic conditions
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

Preferred Education and Experience:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Previous dialysis or critical care experience preferred
Familiarity with hospital protocols and rapid response procedures
