Description
Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IR/Special ProceduresLocation
• Springfield, ILSchedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift (5x8 or 4x10 hours)Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures units.
• Float within scope to meet hospital needs, including other departments if required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, certifying required certifications and licensure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist with patient assessments, procedures, and post-procedure care as needed.Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting, preferably in IR or Special Procedures.
• Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts.
• Must complete and maintain required compliance modules and background checks prior to start.
• Able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Must have SSN and DOB available at time of submission.Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital, Level I trauma center, or magnet facility.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Willingness and ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.Why Join Us
