Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health

🕒 Shift/Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM OR 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (based on office needs)

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Home Health RN experience – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
Active Florida or Compact RN License – Required
Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle for home visits – Required
COVID-19 Vaccination (or approved exemption) – Required
Flu Vaccine (or declination with mandatory masking) – Required

Patient Load & Setting

Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage & Commercial Insurance)
6–8 home visits per day

Required Skills & Experience

Skilled Home Health experience required (Private duty nursing alone will not be accepted)
Experience with OASIS documentation – Required
Strong IV therapy and wound care skills
Experience with general medical and high-risk diagnoses, including:
- Heart Failure (HF)
- COPD
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Pneumonia
- Stroke
Post-operative care experience

Clinical Competencies

Cardiopulmonary assessments
Basic and advanced wound care (including wound vac)
ABI compression dressing
Pleurx/Asept drain care
Foley catheter care and changes
Staple/Suture removal
Glucometer and Pro-time machine use
SQ/IM injections
Lab draws (venipuncture)
IV therapy, PICC/Midline care & dressing changes
SQ port access/de-access
