Position Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medicines used in respiratory therapy

2. Responsible for proper use and maintenance of supplies and equipment

3. Responsible for accurate clinical records and charting

4. Works in a responsible way and maintains high safety standards

5. Be able to communicate effectively and maintain good interpersonal relations with physicians, nurses, patients and various other hospital personnel. Be team oriented in work

6. Should exercise good judgment, tact, dependability, understanding and accuracy

7. Should have aptitude for teaching patients what they should know about their disease process

8. Should provide quality care for the patients

9. Be able to recognize safety issues, whether patient related or not and notify the person in charge, or Supervisor to rectify the condition
