🚨 Medical Assistant – Corrections | Days 🚨

📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ
📅 Start Dates: 4/13, 4/27, 5/11
📄 Contract Length: 13 weeks

🩺 Position Overview:

• Specialty: Corrections
• Setting: Jail / Correctional Health Clinics
• Working across multiple clinic locations within the correctional system

📅 Schedule & Details:

• 36 hours/week
• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Shift: Days
• Overtime: Only approved for critical staffing needs
• Must be flexible with scheduling

⚠️ FLOAT REQUIREMENT:

• Must be open to floating
• May float between multiple clinic locations
• All sites are within ~5 minutes of each other

📚 Orientation:

• Orientation offered every 2 weeks

👩‍⚕️ Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Take vitals, patient history, and document chief complaints
• Perform injections, immunizations, TB tests, and venipuncture
• Assist with procedures and lab work
• Maintain exam room supplies
• Schedule appointments and transcribe provider orders
• Complete documentation in EMR
• Perform administrative tasks (filing, scanning, scheduling, etc.)

✅ Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (per AZ requirements)
• First Aid Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of MA experience
• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays

📋 RTO & Scheduling:

• RTO accepted
• Must meet scheduling and holiday requirements
• 5 holidays required within a 12-month period
