Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• 12-hour night shifts, full-time, 3 shifts per week, rotating schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, primarily managing newly diagnosed acute leukemia cases
• Monitor patient statuses through telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and blood product administration
• Implement infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention measures
• Manage IV therapies, peripheral and central line care, and feeding tube management
• Document patient care activities utilizing EPIC electronic charting system
• Participate in orientation and ongoing staff training, including infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state-issued) in Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of current nursing experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to use MS/Tele tracking systems and Rapid Response Teams

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology certification (e.g., ONS chemo cert)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with PICC line management, IV therapy, and blood draws
