Travel Radiology Tech – Louisville, KY | $2,230/week

Location: Louisville, KY
Start Date: 04/26/2026
Shift: 10-Hour Days, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every 9th weekend 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Call Requirements: 1 weekend call shift per month (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), 2 weekday call shifts per month (4:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 40
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2,230/week
Contract Type: Travel / Temporary

Position Summary:

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures using imaging and computer equipment
Ensure high-quality images that meet department and industry standards
Prepare patients for procedures, educate them, and address concerns
Apply age-appropriate communication, safety protocols, and patient education
Demonstrate expertise in human anatomy, physiology, imaging techniques, and radiation safety
Oversee and train students providing patient care
Maintain infection control, equipment safety, and quality control techniques

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in general radiology
ARRT(R) certification and Kentucky State Radiology Tech license
BLS certification
Strong patient communication and safety awareness
