Travel Pharmacist | 13-Week Contract | Peridot, Arizona | Variable Shifts
 

We’re actively hiring an experienced Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment supporting both outpatient and inpatient/ER pharmacy operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working across different pharmacy settings.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Variable (Days / Nights / Swing / Weekends)
• Schedule: Flexible based on department needs
• Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process prescriptions and ensure timely medication dispensing
• Handle controlled substances in compliance with legal and facility standards
• Provide patient counseling and medication education
• Support both outpatient and inpatient/ER pharmacy workflows
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all policies

Requirements (Must-Have):

• Active Pharmacy License (AZ preferred or willing to obtain)
• BLS Certification
• Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Recent hospital experience (inpatient and/or outpatient)
• ER pharmacy experience required
• Strong knowledge of current medications and clinical practices

Preferred:

• 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
• ACLS & PALS (PALS can be obtained onsite)
