Job & Shift Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab Care Setting: Acute Shift Length:10 hrs Guaranteed Hours:40 hours per week Years of Experience:1 Years License to Submit: Yes Shift Notes Mon-Thursday 0630-1700. On-call every 3rd weekend (all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and on-call 1-2 nights per weeknight (Monday-Thursday 1700-0630). Position is for Cardiac and Interventional Radiology procedures in our 2 room cath lab. Additional Details Charting System: Cerner Unit Notes Department: Cath Lab Tech *Certifications Required: BLS (Preferred: ACLS)* - # suites/labs: 2. - #cases per day on average: 6. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Coronary procedures, IR procedures, Vascular procedures. No EP cases done in Eau Claire. - Job Duties Tech's scrub, monitor, and circulate cases. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Scrub, pan/ general x-ray knowledge. Knowledge of IR and Cardiac cases. - EMR/Equipment: Cerner and Merge. - Cardiologist hours/on call: Evenings and weekends. 10 days per month we are on Stemi divert due to cardiology coverage. IR call coverage is 10 days per month with only 1 IR provider. - Manager/Charge Nurse: Sara Sandley- Manager, Charge Nurse (Board runner)-Natalie or Jessica. - Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1700 Mon-Thur. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: On-call M-Th 1700-0630. - Weekend/Call Requirements: On-call Fri, Sat, Sun 0630-0630. - Holiday/Call Requirements: As needed for coverage. - What is call response time?: 30 min. - Floating Requirements: Occasional 1:1 sitter help. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs are provided by the hospital, light blue. - Unit/Department specific orientation: CBT's assigned on day 1 to be completed in the first week. Orientation binder to be checked off.
