Job Details:

Position: Registered Nurse
Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Shift: Nights - 3x12's
Duration: 13-week contract
Facility: Cayuga Medical Center
Location: 101 Dates Dr, Ithaca, NY 14850

Requirements:

2+year of experience with knowledge of Post Partum
Active NY State RN License
BLS & NRP - required
ACLS & PALS within 3 months of hire

Job Duties:

This position will work collaboratively with Unit leadership to follow the scope of practice for nursing governing bodies that apply to Maternal Child Health.
These responsibilities will include the observation data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s physical, psychological, emotional educational and spiritual needs.
Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g. use of the computer keyboard) light lifting in regard to patient care.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time as it pertains to patient care.
Must be physically able to operate the equipment used for the job.
